the Horn Family band!
Shawn, Kylee, Kaitlyn and Gloria Horn
The Horn Family has been playing Gospel and Bluegrass Music for about 5 years. Many miles have been traveled to take lessons from Midwest City to Kingfisher, Oklahoma. With Shawn on the guitar, Gloria on the bass, Kaitlyn with her mandolin, and Kylee fiddling, the family brings together a blend of vocals and instrumentals integrated with family dynamics creating an interesting and exciting performance. From old hymns and traditional bluegrass songs to new releases, the family has something for everyone.
The Horns enjoys "jamming" with other musicians at Bluegrass Festivals where the family has had the opportunity to play with many talented well-known artists. They also enjoy leading in worship at churches across the country from Florida to Colorado, and of course, Oklahoma.
Monthly performances as a host band at the former "Chicken 'N Picken" were held for 3 years in Crescent, OK, where the family resides. The family currently will be performing monthly, as a host band, at Prairie Land Bluegrass Gospel at First Baptist Church of Crescent.
Kaitlyn and Kylee have been selected to perform at the National Agricultural Leaders Convention (4H & FFA) in Tulsa this coming summer.
